Elena Shaura is a contemporary artist and curator working between France and the United Kingdom. Her practice combines installation, kinetic painting systems, light-based environments, text, mixed media and research-driven artistic projects. Her recent works examine how language, memory and corporeality are shaped through systems of circulation, communication and control. Using pendulum mechanisms, fragmented figurative imagery, projection, light and architectural structures, Shaura creates immersive environments where the body appears as unstable material suspended between support and regulation. Across painting, installation and spatial interventions, her work explores the tension between gesture and automation, emotional experience and technological systems, presence and fragmentation.
